The first of a number of pictures of Punchbowl Cove taken on July 12

These are views of Punchbowl Cove taken from Braesail as I walked around her decks. Above, a scarf of mist puffs wraps itself around a grand granite peak’s shoulders.
Here, misty wraiths look down at their rippled reflections while tiny snow faces peep out from the granite mountain tops above.
Mist ghosts sneak up the wooded slopes above the cove’s still waters
The cove’s surface waters transition into mirrors after a rain, and an island floats atop its watery image.
A wreath of mist rings a monumental granite outcropping. At the waters’ edge, a green-gold necklace of marsh grass and rockweed shimmers the shore.
